Hi,

Been to Vegas a few times and have hit up several clubs in the past, including Pure, Ghostbar, Tryst etc. But haven't been since 2008 and I see there are some nice new ones out there. Any recommendations you can give me and my male companion for Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday night? We like a vareity of music, including rock, hip hop, electric, country (not hard rap).

Also we considered XS, but they are already preselling tickets for 100 bucks for the guys. Can we just decide the day of and go to a concierge and buy the tickets a few hours before the club opens? That's how I believe we did it in the past. I'm fairly attractive so maybe he could cut us a break or something? Just not sure if I run the chance they sell out for Memorial Day wknd. I really didnt want to lock us in a week out since I'm not sure what day(s) we really want to go.

I'm thinking of spending the weekend wearing nice golf shorts and nice golf shirts or button down shirts. I would prefer to wear nice flip-flops all weekend. Is that appropriate for strip steak? Or should I throw in some pants and/or real shoes?

I was trying to figure out why neither my husband (platinum) nor I (gold) have received any "slot dollars" in the mail for ANY CET properties, in... like forever

I googled "Total rewards free slot play" and came across the "Total Touch" information,
Redeem Free Slot Play and More
Bypass the lines and redeem your coupons right at your Total Touch console. Make sure you sign up to receive coupons and offers by e-mail now!

Does this mean that the reason we haven't seen them is because we never signed up for the e-mails?

As a gold card holder (we play mostly in Atlantic City) I am still getting mailers with pretty good offers for $$ for table games, but strangely, never for the casino in which I mostly like to pay BJ... always for another CET property (I don't get that)

Also, (another stupid question) my husband wants to know who I'm "giving favors" to in Atlantic City, because when he books weekend rooms with his Platinum card, the room price sometimes doesn't budge from the "non-card holder" rate, but then when he adds my TR card as a companion, the rate drops to either REALLY low (like $29 a night on a weekend) or totally comped for the night

anyone know what gives with that?
(because I am certainly not giving anyone in AC any "favors" if you know what I mean)
:peace:

We had the Degustation Menu at Le Cirque on Saturday night with the wine pairing...OMG, it was heaven. I loved everything about the restaurant...it wasn't stuffy. The waiters, the maitre'd and the sommelier were all so personable. We were there for three hours!!! Counting the amuse-bouche, there were 7 courses and we ordered each choice so that we could taste everything. Reading over the selections, I wasn't sure I would like everything as my food tastes are more limited than DH....but each dish was so good, I ate all kinds of unusal ( for me) things.

We normally eat very well in LV as that is the reason I agree to go...to try restaurants.....but this was jus fabulous

When we drove by about a year ago it seems they did some construction and incorporated a parking area right by the sign. (This is the sign south of MB.)
The big attraction these days is the location and the CET deals we get there.I envy people who are organized enough to remember each machine or table they play,I dont.
Flight and rental Car,Long flight but we had passes for the United club in the Airport that made the day better and we got upgraded to an exit isle free on the way home. The car rental started out ok at Thrifty the guy went thru a whole presentation showing us what cars in our class were avaiable,we picked one so we walked outside and the kid there we dont have any Impalas but heres a free up grade to a Crown Vic ,nice a police car.Worked out ok,last day gassed it up till the nozzle kicked back and rounded it off. Keep in mind we live in a state where its full service, but I never had an issue before returning a rental fully gased. But this Indian dude did the hand held computer thing and handed me a slip for $20 more. What? Oh you didnt fill the tank sir ,get in and see for yourself. Thats BS and it was just a hair below the line so I slammed the door, cursed him out went to the see the manager and took care of the problem.

Food Did the Gold Coast Breakfast Buffet most days ,tried the Palms once,
it sucked. Did the Ellis Island steak and the Mon Ami Gabi outside and also Margaritaville (tourist trap) . My friend who works at the <a href="http://www.vegasmessageboard.com/go/?l=Rio" title="Support the board! Gambling, just bad ,
