Default MGM Grand roll-away

Does anyone know what MGM Grand charges for a roll-away? We booked a triple room that has 2 queens, but would prefer separate beds.

quick trick I have used @ mirage in teh past...worth a shot. after checkin....find a maid in the hallway. Slip her a 10 or so and say we ordered a rollaway in room ### and it never came...can you take care of that for me? chances are, she'll radio down and they'll bring it up w/o adding it to your bill (that would in all likelihood require whoever she calls to call the front desk etc. Now i'm 3/3 on this @ mirage but like I say YMMV but worth a shot, whats the worst that can happen? you're out 10.00

When we stayed at mgm last year we had 3 of us in the room and paid for 2. requesting a roll away would have gave that away. we left a 20 for the maid and requested it in a short note. it was in our room when we returned that night.

The other time i stayed their, we did pay for a third person, and when i asked about a rollaway at check in, he said there was a charge, and i said never mind. suddenly he said he could waive the fee. If you are decent with people skills, youwill get it no problem.

Thanks for the tips! 20 years with United Way and 8 years at Walt Disney World...I think I can pull together the necessary people skills to get a roll-away. We really can manage with two queens and I'll certainly pay for the roll-away, if needed. But we booked a triple and it would be nice if it slept three comfortably. Last time we stayed at MGM Grand we had a roll-away and I don't remember paying for it.

I have requested a roll-away several times in Vegas and only had to pay for it once.
Another use for the "$20 trick", just asked nicely asked for one at check in while slipping the clerk a twenty...
On a side note, also worked while requesting a fridge.
