Traveling with kids - Guides and Books
There are a number of great travel guides to Las Vegas out there and a couple of them deal directly with taking your kids/family to town. Here are the ones I recommend the most and some of my comments about them.

The Family Fun Guide to Las Vegas - This is the other book that I recommend for people traveling to Las Vegas with kids. It's a complete collection of things to do with kids, including several things I've never heard of before. | |

Experience Las Vegas - This is another
great guidebook with maps, floorplans, seating charts, coupons, etc.
It has some information about traveling with kids, but is not specifically
geared towards traveling families. |

The Unofficial Guide to Las Vegas - This is a great guidebook in itself and it offers some ideas about what to do with kids. However, it is not geared directly towards the traveling family. |  |
The Insiders' Guide to Las Vegas - I
am not familiar with this book directly, but I am told by a number of
visitors that it has good information about traveling to Las Vegas with
kids. However, as with the other two guidebooks, it is not specifically
geared towards child activities. |

Casino Perks - I'm listing
this here because I think it might be helpful for families on a budget.
It is a coupon book. The cost is under $40 and it has over $1200 worth
of coupons that include 2-for-1 admissions to museums, attractions, restaurants,
etc. Using just one of the discount coupons can easily pay for the book.
Use the coupons to book one of the 2-for-1 room offers and save the cost of the coupon book as soon as you arrive! Add to that discounts at roller coasters, Grand Canyon tours and Vegas strip helicopter flights and you can have a great time, while still saving hundreds of dollars! |
