Downtown Las Vegas Pictures

These three pictures are from the neon "museum" on Fremont Street. You can find them on the far south (? east?) end of Fremont Street, the end past Fitzgerald's.

These pictures are from our December 1998 trip to Las Vegas. It was cold in Vegas that week with evening temperatures below freezing every night. You'll notice people are dressed a bit differently than you'll see them in our other pictures!

The elves and soldiers are from the March of the Tin Soldiers Parade on Fremont Street. Like Hunter Thompson said in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, "This is not a good town for psychedelic drugs".

I took this picture of Dan in front of Binion's after his first winning blackjack session of the trip. He was a happy guy!

These thumbnails are from the Odyssey show of the Fremont Street Experience. Click on the thumbnail to see the fullsized picture.
